Wendy spent twenty years in editorial, working at Architectural Digest, Home, and Home/Style magazines before entering public relations. Prior to founding WS&A in 2009, she ran the New York office of Spong, an award-winning, mid-sized public relations firm, where she led the Lutron Electronics account and devised the media relations and New York-market strategy for clients including Sherwin-Williams, Hasbro, The Thymes, MasterBrand Cabinetry, Therma-Tru, American Standard Brands, Maytag, and Jenn-Air. A California native, Wendy holds a degree in architecture from UC Berkeley and is a certified business coach.
Carol has spent more than a decade working as a media relations and events management specialist in the design and lifestyle industries, representing Dom Perignon, Benjamin Moore, Semihandmade, Villeroy & Boch, Duravit, Valli & Valli, Dornbracht, Dyson, and Art Basel, among others. Her expertise encompasses the retail, commercial, residential, hospitality, and office-interiors sectors. Carol also conceptualizes design competitions; creates original lecture and educational programs; consults on advertising buys, brands, and marketing materials; and organizes sponsorships. Fluent in Spanish, Carol is a graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in international relations.
Peter is an editor, writer, and brand strategist specializing in design, architecture, culture, travel, and men’s style. Along with overseeing all content and brand communications for WS&A, he contributes regularly to Interior Design, Travel + Leisure, and Christies.com among other print and online publications, and has written The Esquire Handbook of Style and Taschen’s New New York Interiors. A former editor at Departures, House Beautiful, Elle Décor and, most recently, editor-in-chief of Absolute magazine, Peter was editorial consultant on the launch of Man of the World magazine.
Anna has broad experience in print and digital magazine design, having worked in the art departments of Oprah, Glamour, Sports Illustrated, and Entertainment Weekly, among other major national titles. She is also expert in creating and consulting on digital and print marketing materials and collateral ranging from newsletters to invitations to brand identity assets.
